I will bring to Jasper County a different way of looking at the problems and successes of Jasper County. I will look at the areas of taxes, organization, transparency, budgeting Infrastructure, Human Resources and Accountability. Of these I feel transparency and Human Resources are of the most important.

Transparency allows the citizens to assist the elected official. Providing information to Jasper Citizens is of the highest priority. Meetings must be informative, executive sessions must be limited, and provide additional time for citizens to comment on each resolution and ordinance.

Human Resources is most important to the success of Jasper County. Without a trained and qualified workforce, Jasper will not go forward. Goals must be set, reviews given, and helping the under performing employee to succeed is vital in Jasper's success.

Budgeting, taxes and accountability go hand in hand. The budget is a living document. It must be review, adjusted and maintained by all council members and employees. If an expense comes up that is not in the budget, a reason why it was not budgeted for must be questioned. Items budgeted and not used should also be investigated.
